Sophia Ronald is a second-year Communications student living on the lands of the Secwépemc people in Secwepemcúl’ecw Nation. She has a passion for social justice and world events and loves to tell stories through a variety of mediums. In this project, she hopes to bring a more human perspective to homelessness in a world where people experiencing homelessness are often treated as less than or a financial burden. In her spare time, she enjoys getting outside, doing crafts, and taking photos.
Reesha Aspinall-Brown is a first-year student eagerly anticipating the new year on the TRU campus. She frequently enjoys participating in sports as one of her main hobbies. For instance, skiing and snowboarding at one of the local mountains near Kamloops, Sun Peaks. As well as playing tennis in the summer evenings and walking her two dogs. Reesha aspires to cover social justice issues, important local stories, and international topics. She is excited to be part of the TRUth team, continuing to grow and learn.
